Artist Statement

“What keeps me motivated to paint every day would be my passion to create. Painting to me is freeing. Ever since kindergarten, I have had a love for drawing. Fast forward to high school—I was introduced to watercolor and fell for the medium right away.

I lose myself in mixing colors to create everyday objects. My subject matter is based on the beauty of the world around us. Like a tiny bluebird, freshly bloomed flowers, or colors of an old jug, my art displays the little things often taken for granted.”
